Peak Of The Year

This year has been... Let's just say different. It's been a rollercoaster of events and these events have been major. Most notably COVID-19 and quite a few celebrity deaths. But as the years gone past we adapted and stayed safe and we got on with the year. We did have a few Lowlights and a lot of highlights. This year has been a mess but we still got on with it and carried it on normally.

Highlights

A good thing is that we managed to come back to school and carring on with our work and change back from online classes to back to school. Although in lockdown we still carried on with our school work via online learning. We managed to have a camp even though the weather was supposed to be horrible. We got to be enviro-friendly and team up with summit forest and help them plant lots of trees. Being able to gather with lots of people for the production. Although lockdown sucked it gave me more time to spend with my family.

Lowlights

The Coronavirus was a real big set back and was probably the worst thing that happened this year. The fact that Mrs Cutler is leaving this skill for a whole year in 2021.

I can't think of anymore lowlights because although the few lowlights there are its been a pretty great year otherwise.

Camping In School

Last week for four days the three senior classes participated and did our first ever camp in school and it was a different experience to what we normally do. Although it was in school we still did extremley fun activities to keep us proactive and let us get some of our energy out. The reason we camped at school was because weather wasn't looking to good on the forecast so we made the decsion early to cancel camp in Hohura and camp at school.

Monday

On monday was a pretty sporty day. We play lots of different games and we finished off the sports day with an amazing race which is a series of activitys which you have to complete to win the game. My team ended up coming 6th out of the classes particapating. At the end we played around, had dinner and dessert and chilled for the rest of the day. At the end and after we played we had a really fun game of spotlight. Afterwards we got ready for bed and slept in separate classrooms.

Tuesday

On tuesday we woke up and got our stuff ready to go home. After packing up and having breakfast we got on a bus to head to Matai bay for a swim and have fun snorkeling and enjoyed ourselves at the beach. Afterwards we got back on the bus and we headed back to school to go home.

Wensday

After everyone got back to school we got back on another bus to head to the movie theatres to watch "A War With Grandpa" Which is a comdey about a Grandson and Grandpa fighting over a room. And after the movies we went back home to ready ourselves for the next day.

Thursday/The Last Day Of Camp

On this day we had a pool party with all the senior classes. We had lots of baking, had lunch and enjoyed ourselves at the pools and had a fun day for the end of school camp.

Blog Comparison

Blogs are a online tool to express and explain your learning to the world to entertain and teach them. Well in this blog comparison we identified the similarities and differences in our old blogs and our recent blogs. I can really see the difference between my blogs from then/now. The biggest difference is the length and critical thinking in the blogs. 3 years ago my blogs were around 5 lined blogs where as my current blogs are around 5 paragraphs longs. Also I can see the difference in critical thinking, my old blogs had very basic and easy words where as my new ones have much more longer and smarter words in my new blogs. Something I also noticed was the fact that I used colour in basically all my older blogs and I really liked the fact that it was appealing to look at it was very informal where as my current blogs are very formal and bland. Something I didn't use in my old blogs were paragraphs, I only used lines and those lines were really bland and boring. I also didn't use punctuation in my older blogs, I was still learning how to use punctuation at that time and didn't include them in my blogs.

Those are the most outstanding difference between the two different eras of blogs and I'm really satisfied with the improvment I've made in my blogs and can't wait to improve my bolgs one again in a later date. Right now I'm very very happy with my bloging progress and will improve ever so slightly over the future years to come.

ANGLES

Angles are a helpful tool to use in everyday life. Mostly being used in buildings angles are their to measure and identify the degree of a shape. There are six angles that can be used, Acute, Obtuse, Right Angle, Reflex, Straight Angles, and Revolution. An acute angle is less than 90 degrees, Obtuse is more than 90 degrees but less than 180 degrees, right angles a 90 degrees on the dot, reflex is over 180 degrees and less than 360 degrees, a straight angle is 180 degrees on the dot, and the revolution is the full 360 degrees/circle.

What do you use to measure angles?

The main tool to use is a protractor, they are either a semi-circled shape protractor or a full circle shaped protractor. Both of these protractors have to sets of numbers. The full circle goes up to 360 degrees so you can measure up to 360 degrees, The Semi-circle measures up to 180 degrees so you can measure up to 180 degrees.

How to use protractors?

On the bottom of the protractor is a little intersection.

To use the protractor you put the intersection on the baseline/vertex of the shape and use that as the measure. You don't measure the straight line of the shape, you measure the uneven line.

what ever number you get the is the degrees of the shape and this determines the angle of the shape. And remember the angle/shape rule whether it be a acute angle, obtuse angle, right angle ECT.

With this information in mind my class and I had a fun experience of going around our school and finding angles as well as measuring them. Me and my friend measured many things but ended up mostly finding right angles. It was a fun activity and helped me in progressing my learning and becoming a better learner. These angles activities we do really help me and allow me to futher extend my prior knowledge.

Athletics training

Because term four is here and athletics is coming I have been train my best and tryin to surpass my former best. With athletics I have been working hard to enter in the competition and because the competition is better than ever this year I need to try my best.

High Jump

This year I have mainly been focusing on my high jump skills. I love doing high jump, it is my favourite sport in all of athletics and is the one thing I all ways make it in for. But in year 7 all the competition is very good and I am challenging my self to become better and keep improving my progress.

Sprints

This year I have become faster and more agile and been able to keep up with some of the fastest year 7's and even beat most of them. One thing I need to improve on is my start and ending. When I start I tend to start a little late than others giving them a head start and allowing them to get the better of me.

This year I have become more confident in my abilites and I am pumped about athletics more this year than any year. I am very excited and am going to try my best this year.

Holiday Recount

The recent holidays has been a great 2 week break, but because holidays are over and were back at school I am forced to write this recount. So here it is.

The most significant moment in my holidays was on the first day of the holidays. On this day it was our final game for rugby. We were playing Muriwa, which is one of the best teams in the season. In this game Muriwa went hard out causing multiple injurys and because they injured one of my teammates so bad we had to end the game at half time and needed the ambulance to tend to my teammates injury. After the unfortunate events  that happened in the game we had a nice a chilling prize giving at our coaches batch and concluded the day at the beach that was near the batch.

This significant moment was the only moment that really stood out to me and is the best thing that happened to me in the holidays, then after this significant moment the second best would have to be my birthday which also happened in the holidays. And these only significant events  is all I wrote about, With these events and other i concluded my holiday and concluded this recount,

Us or the Government

Whos fault is it for pollution, The Government or us indivigual people?

As we know pollution is becoming a major problem with global warming right around the corner. With these problems there are always people who cause the problems. Us indivigual people or the Government.

I believe the problem is being caused by both parties, Us indivigual people are the ones polluting where as the Government is doing nothing to prevent the pollution and destroying the enviroment.

Skin

This is my learning blog about skin. We were given a body part/organ and I got skin. Here is my slide explaining skin.

Kakapo Planting Paradise

Tuesday, 14th of September, 2020. This is the day my class and I had the pleasure to take a trip down to Lake Ngatu to give a little back to the enviroment. We partook in planting hundreds of plants to help the enviroment grow from all the destruction that has occured to our enviroment. This activity/projects carries on with our learning about problems and destruction that is happening in our enviroment. We were thorughly excited to take this adventure in expanding and growing our enviroment. Within the hour we spent there we managed to plant around 800 plants that will eventually turn into trees which then will turn into more people being inspired by our work and carry on growing and expanding our enviroment.

The trip from our school to Lake Ngatu took around 20 minutes to drive there. After all of our class got there we met our instructor and guide, Karen. She was very helpful and explained many things such as what species of trees we would be planting, such as Manuka and Kanuka and because these plants are so similar Karen made up a thing to say so we can remember which one is which, Mean Manuka and Kind Kanuka this was because the Kanuka was nice and sof and smooth where as the Manuka was very rough and spikey. With the information on what to do we got started.

How to plant the plants:
Resources
Potted plant
Shovel/spade
Planting gloves(Optional)

Step one find a area that is realitivly good enough to place a plant, make sure that it is a least a meter away from any other plant.
Step two With a shovel/spade dig a hole about a meter down.
Step three Pick up the potted plant and squeeze on all side the potted plants have to loosen it.
Step four Gently tug on the root on the plant until it comes out.
Step five place the plant inside the hole and cover with the excess dirt you dug out.
Step six firmly press down on the dirt around the plant to make sure it dosen't fall over.

Also big thank you to summit forest for hosting us and allowing us to help them and have such a fun exerience.

Here are some photos we took on our trip.

Moment In Time

The view of the mountains peak. The build up, the training, the preparation. Excited yet scared. Thinkingabout the negatives, serious damage, or iminate death but I didn't let them get to me. Ready.

And I'm off. The dust on my tail. The engine crackling. The focus and commitment put into this track. The fire sputtering and the unfamilliar surroundings revolving around me.

With the smoke eminating from my tires, the speed was immense. Drifting feeling like I'm going to fall down the bank. The fear was building up. After what felt like 10 seconds I saw that the end was near. I came to a complete stop woth the view of a beatiful sunset.

This writing was inspired by this video

How did I find this activity?

When doing this activity I found it very fun because I could let my imagination run rampant.

What was interesting about the video? What wasn't?

What I found intresting about the video was that he was commiting to something that would be very scary to others and the fact that he did on a mountain cliff where it would be 10x scary than any other track.

How could I improve my writing next time?

I could improve by going more into detail or maybe making it a little bit longer.

Momment In Time

(Inhale,Exhale) All zipped up, ready. Inches away feeling like I'm going to fall. Rocks crumbling, falling a seemingly endless cliff. I heard the slight echo of of rocks smashng against the ground. This is the most intense experience I've ever been in. I feel like if I fall I'll be falling down a endless abyss. "3,2,1"

Takeoff. I found myself soaring through the daylight. With the wind vigorously pulling me back. The only thing keeping me alive was aerodynamics and my speed. One slight failure and then I'm done

Zooming through all the natural features holding onto dear life. The only things I heard was the wind pushing against my ear and my pounding heart as my current fear was immeasurable.

Finally over flat ground, I pulled my parachute and felt the slight drew back. But I was happy this nightmare is over

Here is the video we wrote about

What Does The Brain Do?

The Brain, The main organ of the entire body. This organ controls functions such as body movment, thinking, memory and all of our involuntary processes.

MOVMENT

Have you ever wondered how you move your body, well whats causing it is the brain sending signals to a specific body part that you want to move travelling at 70-120 meters per second or 156-270 miles an hour and almost instantaneously allowing you to move.

THINKING/MEMORY

Not only movment but the brain also controls thinking and memories, two functions you need to live a normal life. The memory part f the brain is called the Amygdala, not only does the Amygdala control memorises it also controls emotions such as happiness and sadness. The thinking part of the brain is called the Cerebrum, which also controls decision-making.

INVOLUNTARY FUNCTIONS

The involuntary functions are the functions you do involuntary, hence the name. These functions consist of brathing, swallowing, blood pumping, and heart beating. All these functions are contolled by the brain stem. The brain stem is the stem that connects the brain to the spinal cord therefore allowing our systems such as the digestive system to function.

In conclusion the brain and all its functions are crucial to the survival for humanity and allow humans to thrive.

The Brain

This slide is about the brain. We have been learning about the brain because our teacher saw a expert who knows a lot about the brain and she is trying to pass that knowledge to us.

My Injury

Yesterday I was sadly injured, not just any injury like a sore arm, I was injured by falling of my bike, tearing a ligament and bending my arm bone. I did this by riding to fast and falling of which I then tried to break my fall and ended up injury my wrist and arm majorly (In medical terms this injury is called a FOOSH injury. FOOSH means Fall On Outstreched Hand)

When this injury was inflicted I was unable to sleep the night and thought that it was broken. Once I went to the doctors and got my X-Ray I was informed that I had torn a ligament and had bent the bone in my arm.

It was extremly painful for the first couple of days but as the days past I started healing and feeling better. Although feeling dreadful and sore I still managed to make it through and suffer enough to come out better. What also helped was the McDonalds afterwards.

Cross Country

Every single year my school train and participate in cross country. Cross country is a sport that involes lots of running and you require a lot of stamania. This year we are training to trial out to go to the cross country zones.

Every year when we compete to go to the Cross Country zones, we always compete on a farm the is owned by one of the teachers at our school. In the Farm there are lots of hills bumps and areas that use all of your stamiana. To qualify for the zones you must come top 5 out of the year level that your in. And once you are at zones you to get to semi-finals you must come top 10 in all the people that race in your year level.

Even though cross country is a very difficult sport, in the end it is very rewarding and very fun. I cannot wait till we compete and even if I don't make it I know that the people that go to the zones will enjoy their time.

Moment In Time

Mostly every week our class like to write paragraphs about a photo and we describe whats happening, or we write the perspective of a character in the photo. This week instead of writing only a paragraph we wrote an entire narritive.

Here is my story.
I was laying on the boiling hot floor as a fire had just ignited. I was on the brink of death. I heard the faint sounds of sirens, as i inhaled the ashes around me feeling like these will be my last breaths.

Suddenly I felt my weight being lifted, I heard chatter around me. I felt the breeze pushing me, and the faint siren sound got louder and louder.

I was placed on one of the firemens gloves so I would not feel the heat of the concrete. I then felt fresh water drenching my body and I breathed in in the fresh, clean supply of oxygen. Life has given me a second chance. Although feeling fearful, I also felt safe in the arms of my savour.

Try to guess which perspective I wrote from.

Holiday Happiness

In the holiday I didn't do much, but it was still a fun and entertaining holiday. I had lots of time to spend with my family and bond with them. It was very fun to play and chat with my brother.

This holiday although being a very plain was a very proactive in the sense of household proactivity. We did a lot of cleaning and we made the house look immaculate. Not only did we relax inside, we also spent a lot of time outside and on the trampoline. We also had really long walks with my brother and I going into town.

This holiday although was like most holidays it was still fun to talk and bond with my family and have a lot of fun pklaying games and playing outside.

Kakapo Term 2 2020 Collage

This Collage is the 2020 recap of term 2. I really enjoyed all of these and they all are really cool to look back on as this term is coming to a end.

End Of Term Review

As this term is coming to a end I have decided to write a blog on my feeling about this term. I have made many fond memories and have had a lot of feelings about this term. I have made a lot of cherishable friends and have had a lot of fun.

How I feel
When coming back to school I was quite nervous but as time went by I felt calm and like I've been here for the whole year with no break. But over the next couple of weeks I wasn't prepared for lockdown and when we were told that schools and other businesses were closed I kinda panicked. But over the time I settled into lockdown and I am very thankful for the experience. Giving that we had done online learning I wasn't nervous in the slightest when we were able to come back to school. Now we have done lots of good learning and I am very comfortable with were and what I am doing now.

What I am Aiming For
Next term I am aiming to work on the quantity of my work, being able to put more information into my learning. I am also working on giving more informative advice so I can help others complete their work to not only have enough but to also help improve the quality of others learning.

Those are my feelings about Term Two. I really hope by next term I can accomplish my goal.

Question: How was lockdown for you?

Dear Future Generation Letter

We have been very focused about the enviroment and what we can do. Recently we have moved our focus to the Great Pacific Garbage Patch and what humans are doing to cause such a mess. Last week we wrote letters with the layout of the video Dear Future Generation, Sorry. Thiis inspired us to write letters, and this is mine.

Dear Future Generations,
I think I speak for the rest of us when I say, Sorry. Sorry for the predicament that us people put you in. Sorry we used machines to tear down rainforests and the millions of animals that have died doing so. I'm sorry we did all this horrible thing that could crush you future for money. Actually I'm not sorry because I'm going to do something, I'm going to tell you that we need to make a stand. We know what we are doing is wrong and it isn't right and I'm going to try put a stop to it, for the future of mankind , and for the animals we constantly take for granted.

Be Apart Of The Sollution, Not The Pollution

What Is Happening?
In the Kakapo class we have recently been learning about the rainforest. But this week we have focused our attention to plastic and other materials that are destroying our enviroment. We have learned about the Great Pacific Garbage Patch which is twice the size of Texas and holds around 1.8 trillion pieces of rubbish. So in Kakapo we have decided to take action. It is not acceptable to know the problem and not do anything, But in Kakapo we are taking action and doing all we can to spread the warning as we inch closer and closer to global warming. WE WILL NOT STAND FOR IT!

What Can We Do?
In Kakapo we have made a plan to send informative messages to those who continue to use plastic, but we will support and stand by the companies that have taken action and are contributing to help all life on Earth with sustainable products that do not harm sealife, enviroments and aswell as human life. We have pinpointed some companies that are constanly using plastic for all their sales and deciding to write messages that inform them about these current pandemics that invole plastic that they produce and sell.

How Can We Help?
We can start by using and buying sustainable items and products that can be reused and recycled. We can also inform others about the crisis and what can happen if we continue throwing plastic and not caring where it goes than life as we no it would be very extreme and hard to live in. As I said there are 1.8 trillion pieces of rubbish in the great pacific garbage patch and we will slowly start coming to the point were there is as much rubbish as there is fish, there are currently 3,500,000,000,000 (three trillion five hundred billion) fish in the ocean so we only need around 1.7 trillion more pieces of rubbish until there is as much rubbish as there is fish. WE NEED TO DO SOMETHING!

Wednesday 17 June 2020

Dear Future Generations, Sorry

In Kakapo class we have been very focused on helping the enviroment for the future and now. We have been inspired by Prince EA and his video called; Dear Future Generation. This video has inspired us to make slides, posters and art about the Rainforest and its unique animals.
(Here is my slide about the Rainforest)

In the video he explains to the future generation about life now. He also explains the problems in the world.  (Such as deforestation, Climate Change, Rising sea levels, ect) He also explains that animals are not the problems but humans are. He says that he is disapointed about the events happening in the world caused by humans. He says he is going to do something and let his voiced be heard.

Like Prince EA I am also in support of the enviroment and will do things I am not used to to protect and help it no matter what it takes. The enviroment is the live source of the human race and shortly we will run out. Animals aren't destroying our lives, we are ruining our chances of a longer survival. If we keep this track of so called "progress" humans will be like other the animals that we've put enxtinct and become extinct ourselves. Unfortunately the future generation  wont be around to see because of the mistakes and problems we caused now.

Rainforest Report

Over the past couple of weeks my class and I have been researching about the rainforest and have come up with many cool items. We have been researching about the rainforest because of the current crisis, many people are cutting down aceres and aceres of rainforests to use for farming and cattle farms.
We cut down an average of 55,600 trees per minute, every day we cut down an average of 42,000000 trees per day, and every year we cut down a whopping 3.5 to 7 billion trees per year, and even though we have around 3 trillion trees although that is a lot with the average of 3.5 to 7 billion trees cut down per in no time will we have no trees.

we did this art to remind us and others
who come into our class that we support
and are always going to help the
enviroment.
To create this piece we first had to make the plants outline from rainforest plants we researched. We used different sizes to make effect and layering, when it came to the shading we used darker colours for the leaves at the back and lighter shading for the leaves at the front.
We tried our hardest when we needed to make it look realistic and very detailed. Once we finished the basic design of the leaves including the colour we then moved on to dye the background. I used green dye as a detail to make it look like there were other green plants behind the main ones. Once the background was finished we went online to research and find rainforest birds. Once we did we got a seperate piece of paper and drew the basic outline of the bird and then coloured it in the colours they are (The name of my bird is the blue and yellow Macaw). We then dyed the areas that needed to be dyed so the colour would be filled and give it more detail. We then cut it out and used the off cuttings as the hold for the 3D shape.
The challenging part for me was when drawing I strained my arm a lot and it made me very tired. Although I strained my arm it was a very fun activity and everyone was able to be as creative as they wanted.

Other than doing the art we have also been making slides or posters about the rainforest (Rainforest Research) and we have been  researching about the affect of the rainforests around the world. (Did you know Rainforests cover 13 percent of the Earth) While doing this resarch I realized that the rainforests are more important than we think. We are taking them for granted and not realize the affect the rainforest has and without it where humanity would be now. I made this slide as a reminder and a warning that if we carry on with what we are doing humantiy
will be like many animal species and be extinct.

NZ In Level One

As of the 8/6/2020 NZ has official transfered to level 1. As the country is in level 1 that means that within the past couple of weeks NZ has had no new cases of COVID-19 I are certain that we can maintain hygen and be able to stay in level 1. We have had no new cases for 18 days.

What are the perks of being in level 1?
Well as we are in level 1 we still need to keep hygenic but that dosen't mean that we can't have fun.
We no longer need to social distance, all companies and shops are open, and we can do much more than we could, and no more qurantine!!!

How Do I Feel
As we have only just entered level 1 I don't feel much different from level 2, but I'm sure that I like level 1 more than level 2, 3 and 4.

How do you feel?

The Rainforest Crisis

As we know we have many Rainforests, Amazon Rainforest, Congo Rainforest and many more. But over the past 100 years humans have been cutting down acres and acres of Rainforest trees. The average amount of trees cut down per minute is around 40 football fields, the amount cut down per day is around 100,000 acres worth, and the amount cut down per year is astonishing the number of trees cut down per year is around 3.5 to 7 billion trees.

But the sad part is that all these Rainforests and trees are cut down for money. People break animals home and the homes of many rare species of animals for their own greed and selfish desires. We need to do something. Right now we have around 3.04 trillion trees which is a lot but we are shortly going to run out if we don't be more cautious and think about the actions we make. If  we prevent the thought of cutting down trees and tearing down Rainforests than we wont have any problems going into the future.

Powerful Paragraph

In the moring we usally do something to burst our writing and help us be a better writer. We have a set criteria and we are learning to use them in all our pieces of writing. The criteria is to have
Alleteration (Alleteration is when you use the same letter at the start as the previous word. EG Fenzy For Fun.)
Metaphor and Similes (Simle: To compare something to someone with the words like or as EG: He is as tall as a giraffe. Metaphor: To call someone something that is physically impossible. EG He is a tall giraffe.)
Personification (To give an object or concept a human trait)
Onomatopoeia (Examples: Bang! Whip! Snap!)
Here is an example of one of my powerful Paragrapghs

As I was walking through what seemed like an endless forest I  heard the silent whispers of the wind. I saw the overgrowth of moss gathering on the dark oak trees. I saw grass slowly but surley patching itself up.. I heard the quiet rustle as the leaves swayed in the breeze. I heard the distant growl as the wind picked it up and carried it through the air. I felt the sensation of calmness. Freedom and solitude. There was no sunlight as the dark shade of the trees that even the suns light couldn't penetrate. It seems as if these trees have been here since the begining of time, I was amazed.

The NZ border situation

Should The Borders Stay Closed And Let Tourism Be Inactive For a little longer.

Tourism in NZ is massive. NZ makes around 20 billon dollars because of tourism. But due to this current pandemic/crisis NZ needs to take certain measurements to ensure the saftery of NZ.

Due to tourists wide range of travel they have higher chances of bring the virus to NZ and pass it on to others and then the cycle will go on until half of NZs population infected. But if the borders stay closed it would limit the the virus until it contained and NZ would be safer.

Even without tourist in NZ we can still help the tourist industry stay active in NZ. With NZers traveling to tourist hotspots/atractions we can keep NZ tourism alive and we can still be making income from tourism and it will help NZ economy majorly.

In conclusion I believe that the borders should stay closed for a bit longer so that COVID-19 can be contained and that NZers can travel without a crowd.

Returing to school feelings

When I came back to school I felt many emotions some being excited, nervous and happy. But today i'm feeling like i've been at school all year.

The night before coming to school I couldn't sleep because I was really nervous and was wandering what everyone would think. But i've settled in now and im feeling good. I don't fell nervous anymore although qurantine made me spend a long time away from my friends I'm getting to learn about their qurantine and what the were up to for 2  months I have been chatting with them a lot and their qurantine was pretty intresting.

I'm feeling really good about being back at school. Now I feel like normal and qurantine was a long holiday. School is really fun and my friends have many cool storys and I really like hearing what they did for their qurantine.

My Book Report

The past few weeks my brother and I have been writing book reports. We having chosen a book and read through the chapters. We have done this a extra work during qurantine and I enjoy it a lot because the book I chose is really intresting with major plot twist and exciting moments.

The book I have chosen is Black Panther The Young prince. I have chosen this book because it is intresting has a lot of cool and sad moments and is a fun intresting book to read. As I read the book I imagine the characters and what they would be like if I knew them.

I enjoy the book because of all the funny moments, sad moments and the awkward moments. The book has me hooked and makes me want to know everything as well aswondering what it would be like in that world.

I really enjoy writing these book reports and I can't wait to find out whats next.

My Outside Activites During Lockdown/Qurantine

Within the span of qurantine me and my brother everyday go outside weather it's to play on the tramp or do thing such as soccer of rugby. Our outside time mostly consists of bouncing on the trampoline. We do this daily to exercise and have fun. We learn new tricks and it is really fun to preform them.   enjoy ourselfs and communicate and laugh outside aswell.

While we are outside we do alot of fun activites but we really enjoy chatting and playing on the tramp.
Other games we play outside is dodgeball, soccer, rugby, and other thing to keep us proactive which exsercises us and we have fun doing. While in lockdown we need to stay fit to keep active and healthy and thats what me and my brother do.

In lockdown we are very focused on keeping fit and having fun, while outside we do both. We really enjoy playing outside with eachother and doing fun activities with eachother. When we play outside we always make eachother laugh and for the both of us me and my brother we really enjoy spending time with one another.

My Qurantine Time

Whilst in qurantine I have been keeping myself busy with inside work such as cleaning and my school work, I have also been keeping proactive and fit while I spend time outside. I have been making the best of the activities at my house to keep myself entertained and have been doing what I can to stay hygenic and clean. My daily schedule consists of  going onto the trampoline, working out, cleaning up, and staying smart with my school work to keep me ahead and preapared.

I have also been having fun with my family given all the time we have together. We constantly talk to eachother making eachother laugh and genrally having a good time. Me and my family have bonded more over the weeks we chat on a daily basis and we have fun and do many activities
 together.

My qurantine is pretty fun but one downside is the fact that I can't be with my friend and do physical activities with eachother. Another downside is the fact that I can't go out for a walk with saftey repercussions and that most stores in my town are closed.

Although I can't spend time with my friends qurantine is still pretty fun and is a great bonding time for me and my family. I would prefer not to go through qurantine but I not bothered by it because I can can still call my friends, bond with family and do lots of fun activities.

100 word story

A couple of weeks ago my class and I tried to do something different than usuall.
Instead of writing normal story, we wrote 100 word storys which are storys that we try and finish with 100 words. Some 100 word story have relieving ends and some are cliff hangers.

My story was made up. What I enjoyed about the process was letting my imagination run rampant and writing down whatever I chose. what I found challenging was packing all my ideas into an 100 word story. I found very fun and I highly recommend trying it.

This is my 100 word story.

Crash! as lightning and thunder revolved all around me. It was a dark night, no one was awake, no one except me. I peeked out my window when I saw an ominous mysterious man. Crash! The storm was getting louder. Then as the man raised his hands in the air the storm suddenly stopped and I thought to myself "Is this man God?" I blinked then he had disappeared. I started to think it was a dream. I turned around and was shocked. I stumbled back and the man whispered "Why are you awake?"

Confession Poem

A couple of days ago my class and I partook in poem writing but instead of normal poems we wrote confession poems which confesses one of our secrets.
What helped us write our poems format was inspired by William whom wrote a confession and used his layout as an example.
His example helped us with the oredering of the words and format to put them in.

What I found challenging was find a good non-serious confession to confess about.
I had settled on when I spilt juice on the carpet.
What I found enjoyable was the reilef of getting that confession of my chest.
What I also found enjoyable was seeing everyone elses confession.

I found this very fun and challenging and was very relieving to me.

My Heart Art

A few weeks ago my class and I did heart art but the background and the foreground was checkers.  The colour on the inside of the heart had to be different than the colour on the outside of the art. What I found challenging was colouring in the squares, it was time consuming it hurt my wrist and I had to sharpen the pencil alot. What I found fun was how rewarding it was when you finish and doing the black outlines.
At the start we first drew our hearts then after that we did a checker lines all over the page. Then after that we had to colour in the background of the foreground (the heart) I satrted with the heart then moved on to the background then after that I finished with my black outlines. I found it entertaining and I really enjoy the outcome of my art
